WCU’s Wells School of Music Presents the WCU Symphony Orchestra on Saturday, November 18Symphony Orchestra

West Chester University’s esteemed Symphony Orchestra, under the direction of Paul Bryon, will perform in concert on Saturday, November 18 at 7:30 p.m. in the Madeleine Wing Adler Theatre, Swope Music Building and Performing Arts Center, 817 S. High Street, West Chester. The concert is FREE and open to the public. It is also available to be viewed by livestream at: https://vimeo.com/wsom.

The program, titled ‘Tis the Season, features guest violin soloist Robyn Bollinger performing Astor Piazzolla’s The Four Seasons of Buenos Aires and the enchanting Symphony No. 1 in G minor “Winter Dreams,” Op. 13 by Pyotr Ilyich Tchaikovsky.

The 70-member student ensemble performs 5 - 6 concerts per year, both on and off campus. They perform standard symphonic repertoire as well as new compositions. Remaining concerts for the 2023-24 Season can be found at: https://www.wcupa.edu/communications/newsroom/2023/08.10musicseason.aspx.
