Historian tonya thames-taylor Brings Frederick Douglass and Abolitionists to Life for Juneteenth and July 4
Associate Professor of History tonya thames-taylor is featured in the Philadelphia Inquirer discussing abolitionists and a historic site in Chester County. She will present on Frederick Douglass on July 4 at the National Constitutional Center in Philadelphia.
thames-taylor was also one of three experts to help the Chester County History Center celebrate Juneteenth on June 19 with presentations on Douglass and local civil rights activist Bayard Rustin.
