Adult Students Balanced Work, Home, Evening & Online Classes to Earn Undergraduate & Graduate Degrees
Balancing work, home, school, and classes in the evening as well as online, West Chester University’s (WCU) Philadelphia location students will graduate on Monday, June 6, at 5 p.m. (undergraduate ceremony) and 7 p.m. (graduate ceremony) at the Hilton Philadelphia at Penn’s Landing, 2nd Floor Grand Ballroom, 201 S. Christopher Columbus Boulevard, Philadelphia. The two evening commencement ceremonies are being held for May and August 2022 graduates of the Philadelphia location.
Among the 56 undergraduate and 66 graduate-level students who have completed their degree requirements at WCU’s Philadelphia location are grandparents, students currently working multiple jobs and career changers. As the majority of these students are currently working in their fields, many are already using their degrees to advance their positions with prominent employers in Philadelphia.
The University has been offering undergraduate and graduate degree programs in Philadelphia since 2013. Offering a close-knit adult learning community, those graduating on June 6 will receive bachelor’s degrees in business management, nursing, and social work. In addition, graduate students will receive master’s degrees in social work.
Combined with the numbers of graduates from the University’s fall commencement last December, West Chester University has graduated a total of 4,640 undergraduate and graduate students for the 2021-2022 academic year (3,527 undergraduates & 1,113 graduates).
