Bio

Dr. Linda (Xiaowei) Zhu’s teaching interests are in Operations Management, Supply Chain Management, Project Management, Management Information System, and SAP curriculum. The Management department hosts six majors:

Business Management;

Business Management - Human Resources Concentration;

Business Management - Intelligent System and Process (ISAP) Concentration;

International Business;

Supply Chain Management;

Supply Chain Management - Healthcare Concentration,

six minors:

Business Analytics Minor;

Business Law Minor;

Entrepreneurship Minor;

Human Resource Management Minor;

International Business Minor;

Supply Chain Management Minor,

a certificate Program: SAP Student Recognition Award Certificate Program,

and Human Resources Master program.

Zhu is the Executive Director for the Supply Chain and Business Intelligence Center at WCU. SC&BI hosts many extra-curriculum activities, including case competition, company tours, SAP simulation competition, and technology programs.

Zhu' s areas of research include supply chain management, outsourcing management, mixed channel, forecasting, information sharing, and quality management. She has published articles in journals such as Journal of Business Research, Production and Operations Management, International Journal of Production Economics, Transportation Research Part E: Logistics and Transportation Review, Annals of Operations Research, International Transactions in Operational Research, International Journal of Electronic Commerce, Journal of Engineering and Technology Management, and International Journal of Quality & Reliability Management.
