Bio
After eight years of teaching high school special education, Dr. Kim Doan decided to return to school full time to earn her Ph.D. in Special Education from the University of Virginia, a Research 1 school. During her years in Virginia, she taught English for Speakers of Other Languages (ESOL) at the elementary level for two years. In total, she has 10 years of elementary and high school experience. In addition to teaching, she has a number of presentations and publications to her credit. Doan is also advisor to Best Buddies, serves on the Governor's Advisory Council for People with Disabilities, and serves as a Supervisor of Uwchlan Township.
