Rajvee’s career spans over fifteen years of television experience which includes stints at New Delhi Television (Chennai), where he was a local reporter, then became a prime time news anchor and correspondent for Sun TV. He has produced several documentaries for regional and high profile non-profit organizations from around the world. He served as a series producer for the program, “Expressions” at WSIU Pubic Broadcasting.
He received his Ph.D. in Mass Communication and Media Arts from Southern Illinois University at Carbondale. He received his M.A. in Communications from the University of Madras, where he specialized in cinema studies and television production. As an undergraduate, he studied English Literature at Loyola College. He has presented guest lectures at several regional and International venues.
He teaches mass communication, digital journalism, and video production. He is the faculty advisor for WCU studios. His areas of interest are video production, mobile media, technology, and health promotion.
About my Classes: I love to share my ideas on various topics and issues. COM 212 (Mass Communication),
JRN 212 (Digital Journalism) and COM 217 (Video Production). I am fair and reasonable
when it comes to dealing with student issues.
