External Review Committee Member Recommendations
Department Name
The goal of this exercise is to identify individuals who can make a strong external review committee based on their experiences and expertise, thereby offering a strong review for the department. The proposed reviewers below should reflect significant exploration and research by the director and/or department in collaboration with the director of Student Affairs Assessment and Strategic Planning. Individuals should placed in order of preference. Once the list is completed, a meeting will be scheduled to review the list and determine next steps.
Many people consider it an honor to be asked to serve on an external review committee. The final decision on who is invited to serve on the committee and as chair belongs to the vice president of Student Affairs or their delegate. To reduce confusion, please do not reach out to anyone in advance to ask if they would be willing to serve in this capacity.
Potential WCU Reviewers
The people in this list should be individuals who report outside the Division of Student Affairs who have a strong understanding of the department and interact with it regularly. The person who is selected from this list will be asked to serve as the chair of the external review committee and will be compensated accordingly.

Ideally, the person will have served in professional organizations, written publications, provided presentations or consulted on topics related to the WCU department undergoing the review. Individuals may also have previous experience serving as program reviewers.
