About the ThermoScientific Apreo 2S LoVac SEM
The Apreo 2S LoVac SEM was received by the CMIRT in June of 2023 after being awarded an NSF MRI Grant. The Apreo is a Field Emission SEM that offers high resolution imaging with a combination of in-chamber and in- lens detectors for the detection of secondary and backscatter electrons. Attached to the SEM is an Oxford xMax detector for EDS (x-ray) analysis.
