Dr.%20Tina%20Selvaggi%20earned%20her%20B.A.%20in%20English%20and%20her%20reading%20specialist%20certification%20and%20M.S.%20in%20education%20from%20St.%20Joseph's%20University.%20She%20earned%20her%20Ed.D.%20from%20Widener%20University's%20Reading%20Leadership%20program.%20Selvaggi%20began%20her%20career%20in%20higher%20education%20as%20an%20adjunct%20instructor%20of%20Literacy%20at%20West%20Chester%20University.%20Prior%20to%20joining%20West%20Chester%20University,%20Selvaggi%20taught%20elementary%20school,%20gifted%20education,%20served%20as%20an%20Instructional%20Support%20Teacher,%20a%20Reading%20Specialist%20and,%20most%20recently,%20a%20staff%20developer%20in%20Pennsylvania%20public%20schools.%20Her%20research%20interests%20include:%20professional%20development/coaching,%20teacher%20candidate%20preparation,%20and%20use%20of%20technology%20to%20enhance%20instruction.
