The OSSD Mindfulness Program was implemented in 2017. The Mindfulness Team works with students to incorporate healthy, mindful habits in their everyday lives through contemplative practice. The Mindfulness Program is free of charge and is open for all registered OSSD students. There is no prior knowledge of mindfulness needed in order to participate!


We will update contact information at the beginning of the Fall 2018 Semester!


    • If your accommodations include utilizing the Proctoring Center, please note that during the summer sessions proctoring is by appointment only and the online request form will NOT be available.  Contact for more information. 
    • TO INCOMING FRESHMEN AND TRANSFER STUDENTS AND PARENTS!!!  Summer Transition and Enrichment Program (S.T.E.P.): First year students, along with their parents/guardians, are invited to attend our annual Summer Transition and Enrichment Program on Wednesday, July 18, 2018. The program is designed to assist students in making a successful transition to WCU while providing pertinent information to parents/guardians. Students interested in attending may register by contacting our office by Friday, July 13, 2018.
      • Small group information sessions for high school juniors and seniors (and their parents/guardians) can be arranged by calling our office. Sessions are available during the afternoon on the following dates: September 27th, October 25th, and November 29th.

  • How to Renew your Letter of Accommodation
    Current Students: please stop in to renew your Letter of Accommodation for next semester; binders are available on the table just inside our office!
  • Coaching and Tutoring
    Eligible students may sign up for an Academic Coach, English Tutor and/or Math Tutor in the OSSD.
