You can sync the Veterans Center Events Calendar with your Outlook by doing the following:

  • Go to File, then under Account Settings click on Account Settings
  • Click on the Internet Calendars tab
  • Click New... then paste in this address:

SVG Veterans Educational Forum

When:  Saturday, April 25th, 9am - 4pm

Where:  West Chester University - Great Lawn/Main Hall

Why:  Networking/Resource Sharing amongst Student Veterans attending colleges and universities in the Greater Philiadelphia area and amongst the 14 PASSHE Schools

Cost for Attendance:  Free

A contintental breakfast and lunch will be provided.

The evening event will be attendance at the Phillies evening game against the Braves.


S.A.I.L. Become a Certified Student Leader (CSL)

Chances are YOU hae most likely met most, if not, all of the requirements to become a Certified Student Leader (CSL). All you may need is some documentation. How do you check your status?! Two ways: Either send an email to Breanna Ockimey, The Graduate Assistant for Leadership ( or read through the requirements on and determine which items you can check off your list! The program is RETROACTIVE, so anything you have done during your time at WCU can count if you send it to Breanna for approval.

  • Opportunity to Serve as a Facilitator for SAIL for the rest of your time as an undergrad

If you are a Veteran resident of Delaware County facing homelessness, the Supportive Services for Veteran Families (SSVF) Program can assist you.
