Anti-Racism Working Group: An Interdisciplinary and Cross-Campus Advocacy Effort, ($5,000) grant award presented to Dr. Mia Ocean, Assistant Professor of Social Work, Dr. Gwenelle O’Neal, Professor of Social Work, and Dr. Brie Radis, Assistant Professor of Social Work.

Centering Community Wisdom: Pre-Service Teachers Learning from Community Mentors, ($4,755) grant award presented to Dr. Kathleen Riley, Associate Professor of Literacy, and Dr. Kathryn Solic, Associate Professor of Literacy, was awarded $4,755.

The Lincoln vs. Douglass Debate, ($5,000) grant award presented to Dr. Gerardina Martin, Assistant Director of the Honors College, Dr. William Lalicker, Professor of English, and Dr. Chris Awuyah, Professor of English and Director of the Frederick Douglass Institute.

Gender and Racial Differences in the Skin Microbiome, ($5,000) grant award presented to Dr. Vishal Shah, Associate Dean for College of the Sciences and Mathematics, and Dr. Teresa Donze-Reiner, Assistant Professor of Biology.

Understanding Stressors that Influence African Immigrant College Student Success, ($4920) grant award presented to Dr. Heather Edelblute, Assistant Professor of Health, Dr. Zeinab Baba, Assistant Professor of Health, Dr. Chiwoneso Tinago, Assistant Professor of Health, and Dr. Janet Chang, Assistant Professor of Psychology.

WCU Heath Career Summer Academy, ($5,000) grant award presented to Mr. Daniel Baer, Instructor/Athletic Trainer/Clinical Education Coordinator in the Department of Sports Medicine.

Social Justice Coffee Hour Series: A Pilot, ($5,000) grant award presented to Dr. Stevie Grassetti, Assistant Professor of Psychology and Cassidy Tennity, Psychology Graduate Student.
