Students admitted to West Chester University through the Academic Success Program
(ASP) begin their collegiate careers with a five-week summer session during which
they are required to live together in a university residence hall. The summer session
begins with an Opening Day orientation and weekend activities, followed by five weeks
of academic coursework, tutoring, academic advising, mentoring, and a schedule of
cultural, academic, and extra-curricular events.
