Teaching: I teach undergraduate courses – Teaching Language Arts, Reading Instruction & Practicum and graduate courses – Language, Literacy, & Learning, and Literacy Practicum & Seminar.
Research: My research interests are: dialogic instruction, powerful iPad-based teaching and learning, and effective professional development.
Service: I have served on various committees during my 9 years. CAPC, Co-Chair of Committee for Excellence in Learning & Teaching (CELT), Literacy Dept. representative on CESW International Programs Committee, APSCUF. I am also the President of the Professors of Reading Teacher Educators.
Interests/Passions Outside of Academe: Spending time with my family and friends, reading, going to the beach, yoga, and meditation.
Times when I can meet: I will be serving as the temporary chair of the Literacy Dept. for the fall semester so it would be best to set up meeting dates/times as we go along.
