Teaching

Teaching: I mainly teach courses in human development, health behavior and social determinants of health along with some general health courses.

Research: My research focuses on worksite wellness, obesity, emotional wellness, stress management and mindfulness.

Service: I have had diverse service commitments in the years at WCU, but they have primarily focused on areas related to faculty wellbeing, student awards and student health.

Interests/Passions Outside of Academe: I love to be outdoors! I enjoy running, yoga, going to beaches, socializing, tasting wine and traveling. I live in Philadelphia and can be spotted dining out regularly. I also volunteer at a wildlife clinic and feed baby wildlife animals.

Times when I can meet: Tuesdays are the most flexible days for me to meet but Wednesdays are also possible in person.
