Thomas H. Short Jr., age 55. Beloved husband of Darlene; dear father of Robert Short, Kathy Short (Belem Destefani) of Brooklyn, NY, Peter Short (Dana Piper) of Port Arthur, TX, and Kellen Short of Indiana, PA; devoted son of Thomas H. Short Sr. and Phyllis Short (nee Gibb); fond brother of David Short (Deborah Horn) and Amy Beltano (Shelley Horine); loving uncle of Amanda (fiancé Jeremy Foster) and Nathan Short; stepfather of Trevor and Andrew Taylor; cherished nephew and cousin.

Dr. Short was a respected member of the statistical community. Funeral service Saturday, December 22, 2018 at 2:00 p.m. at Messiah Lutheran Church, 5200 Mayfield Road, Lyndhurst, Ohio 44124. Interment private. The family will receive friends at the church two hours prior to service. Arrangements for a memorial service in the Philadelphia area are still being planned.
