Rock Life is a non-degree post-secondary education program for students with intellectual disabilities housed in the College of Education. This presentation covers: why a post-secondary education program for students with intellectual disabilities?; a fully inclusive, integrated college experiences leading to competitive, integrated employment; explains benefits to students with intellectual and other developmental disabilities and the college community; and shares recommendations for PASSHE regarding inclusive education for students with intellectual disabilities.

Dr. Robert Arnhold, Professor and Director of Adapted Physical Activity Program at Slippery Rock University
Dr. Arnhold has been professor and director of the Adapted Physical Activity Program for the past 31 years. He is also coordinator of the graduate Adapted Physical Activity Program. In 2016 he also began the Rock Life Post-secondary Education Program for students with intellectual and other developmental disabilities. Currently, 8 students are enrolled in Rock Life, living on campus, and enrolled in fully inclusive classes.
