Improved means of communication and travel is making the word smaller. International professionals believe that the world is moving toward the oneness of human community. On the other hand, it is ironic that we find a growing inward turning in US society, a tending to believe that "US First" and that US should solve domestic problems before diverting attention to international and global issues. The students' plainest will discuss that this notion is counterproductive because domestic problems have their roots in global phenomena and cannot be solved with strictly domestic solutions and point of views. The panelist will provide an analysis and best practices of creating diversity programs through the center of Diversity and Inclusion to engage international students and US students on campus to create multiculturalism and provide global outlook.
