Intersectionality and College Students with Physical Disabilities

This presentation will cover intersectional theory; the application of intersectional theory to college students with physical disabilities and implications for Universal Design in higher education.

Mrs. Kimberly Hardner, Adjunct Professor of Social Work at Edinboro University
Kimberly Hardner, MSSA, LSW is currently enrolled in the Doctor of Social Work program, a joint effort of Kutztown and Millersville Universities. She is employed at Edinboro University of Pennsylvania as a full-time temporary adjunct professor of the social work department, in both the BSW and MSW programs. Mrs. Hardner's clinical experience includes: child welfare; case management with children with intellectual disabilities; case management with children with Autism Spectrum Disorders (ASD); Mobile Therapy with children with ASD; Behavior Specialist Consultant services with individuals with ASD; and Trauma-Focused Cognitive Behavioral Therapy with children and adolescents.
