Faculty Contact Information

The West Chester University of Pennsylvania Wells School of Music's Theory, History, and Composition Department offers a wide variety of degrees, including a Bachelor of Music in Theory, History, Composition, Elective Studies with an Outside Field, and a Master of Music in Theory/Composition and History. Additionally, the department offers minors in General Music and Music Production.

Theory, History and Composition graduates have also gone on to further their musical education at institutions including:

  • Cincinnati College-Conservatory,
  • Curtis Institute of Music,
  • Eastman School of Music,
  • Hartt School of Music,
  • Indiana University,
  • Peabody Conservatory of Music,
  • The Juilliard School,
  • Yale School of Music, and others.

Alumni have also moved on to successful careers as freelance composers and arrangers for film, television and media.
