ResNet is short for Residential Network. West Chester University ResNet Central was established in July 2005 under the Information Services and Technology - IT Infrastructure Services. ResNet Central supports the student network in residential halls. ResNet Central Services are available to all current students residents and commuters.

ResNet Central is the single point of contact of WCU students for residential technology services. ResNet support residents, commuters and student organizations. ResNet is operated and ran by members of staff and a team of student workers as consultants who strive to deliver excellent service with professionalism and communication skills with a focus on offering pertinent technical information
The mission of ResNet Central is to provide technical and operational services to the student body of West Chester University. ResNet consultants are committed to pursue excellence in technical service through innovative and reliable solutions to keep pace with continuous improvement and advancing technology.
The ResNet Helpdesk is a one-stop support line for all West Chester University students. It provides computer repair, password resets among other technical services. Support are offered through walk-in, over the phone or the Xpress desk and has extended hours during the fall and spring semesters.
ResNet has a computer lab on the same location of ResNet Central on the Ground Floor of Brandywine Hall. Students need to swipe their WCU ID to gain access to the computer lab equipped with a network printer. A Ramprint printer is also available and located in the lobby.
