Content Change Status

Setting Date and Viewing Restrictions for Content

Content is made up of Modules and Topics. You can set dates and restrictions for both, neither or one or the other. The start date is the day and time the content will be viewable to students. The end date is the date and time the content will no longer be accessible. Due dates can be set for modules, this date and time will appear on the D2L course calendar as being due. Students will still be able to access content after the due date.

When you create modules and topics, by default the status is set to Published (i.e. visible to students). If you prefer to keep some course content (modules or topics) hidden from students, the status should be changed to Draft.
