Tuition Fee Waiver

Pennsylvania State System of Higher Education employees are eligible for tuition costs to be covered by the University. An employee's dependent children, spouse or domestic partner may also be eligible for a full tuition waiver. The tuition waiver is not available to an employee and/or dependent who already holds an undergraduate degree from WCU or another university/college. Please review the Tuition Waiver Policy for complete eligibility rules.

WCU Graduate Degree Reimbursement Policy (Managers Only)

West Chester University’s Cabinet approved a new WCU Graduate Degree Reimbursement Policy to help support University managers’ talent development. The policy is effective beginning the Fall of 2016. The purpose of this policy is to encourage University managers to pursue career relevant, graduate-level credit-bearing coursework or graduate degree programs by establishing a reimbursement mechanism for certain associated expenses.

The GED® program is the only high school equivalency program built to help adults who did not receive a high school diploma qualify for college, training, or a good/better job. The GED® test is a four-subject high school equivalency test that measures skills required by high schools and requested by colleges and employers. The four subjects are Science, Social Studies, Mathematical Reasoning, and Reasoning Through Language Arts. After you pass the GED® test, your diploma or credential will be issued by your state but you'll receive a GED® transcript to apply to college, start training, or get a better job..

  CLEP Testing

CLEP exams test mastery of college-level material acquired in a variety of ways - through general academic instructions, significant independent study or extracurricular work. CLEP exam-takers include adults just entering or returning to school, military service members and traditional college students.
