18-23 Project Coordinator (Part-time) - Disadvantaged Business Enterprise (Manager 160)
Position Summary: Cheyney University of Pennsylvania seeks applicants for a part-time (20 hours per week) Project Coordinator for the Disadvantaged Business Enterprises (DBEs) to provide business coaching and business development services to assist the DBEs in obtaining the business acumen necessary to compete with non-DBE firms for PennDot subcontracts. This position will be expected to meet deadlines, provide detailed written reports on the accomplishment of tasks and firms assigned. The incumbent will travel extensively across the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania as needed to fulfill these duties. Hours per day will vary dependent upon assigned tasks.
Requirements: Minimum of two years' experience in training or consulting in business or technology programs is required. A bachelor's degree preferred in any related discipline or any equivalent combination of experience and training. Must be proficient in Word, Excel, PowerPoint and MS Access (or similar database program). Training Instructional design and development skills; strategic and analytical thinking; and excellent interpersonal and communication skills, oral and written. Excellent understanding and interpretation of statistical data are desirable. Ability to develop/design marketing material desirable.
