In the Spring semester of 2016, all WCU Health and PE graduates seeking teaching employment were able to secure a teaching position in their feild. There are several reasons for this including an uptick in school district hiring, improved school budgets, teachers from the baby-boom generation retiring in greater numbers and fewer teachers graduating from colleges such as WCU. We anticipate these favorable employment trends continuing in the near future. The program, its faculty and university take job placement seriously and undertake many efforts to help graduates find employment.
