Inspiration
My family immigrated from Cuba and I was a first-generation/low-income (FGLI) college
student. I identify as queer/trans/non-binary and my gender pronouns are they/them/theirs.
My intersecting identities and commitment to social justice led me to the social work
profession. I've provided psychotherapy for LGBTQ+ youth, college students, and individuals
impacted by trauma, HIV/AIDS, and substance use. As an educator, consultant, and clinical
supervisor, I aim to facilitate a collaborative, inspiring, and enjoyable learning
experience.
