Robert H. Haworth is an associate professor in the Department of Educational Foundations and Policy Studies at West Chester University and the coordinator of the Doctorate of Education in Policy, Planning and Administration. Before joining the faculty, Dr. Haworth has worked as a High School Social Studies Teacher in California, an assistant professor at Monash University in Victoria, Australia and was tenured faculty at University of Wisconsin, La Crosse where he was the director of Diversity and Social Justice general education courses. He cofounded worker-owned and operated Regeneration TV as well as other academic research collectives.

Area of Instruction

Dr. Haworth teaches courses focusing on the social foundations of education, anarchism, qualitative research, neoliberalism and education, and critical pedagogies. He has published and presented internationally on anarchism, youth culture, informal learning spaces, and critical social studies education.
