I received my Master's in Social Work from the University of Pennsylvania in 2009 and my Master's in Public Health from Drexel University in 2012. I completed foundation coursework at the Institute for Relational Psycho-Analysis of Philadelphia and have been teaching graduate social work in the Philadelphia area since 2014. My professional background and history has been grounded in communities that I am both personally and professionally committed to serving: youth communities, recovery community, gay/bisexual men, people of color, HIV/AIDS. Currently, I am a behavioral health consultant for a federally qualified health center, maintain a private practice focusing on gay/bisexual men in Philadelphia/ corporate wellness, teach graduate social work courses at West Chester University and Columbia University and am pursuing a Doctorate in Behavioral Health in integrated health care at Arizona State University.
Outside of my professional interests, I spend time learning how to cook, bike ride, engage in yoga/mindfulness practices, write comedy sketches and have conversations about post-colonialism and popular culture.
