ABOUT DAN
Dan Sheridan, a junior in the Early Grades Preparation PreK-4 program, was chosen this year to receive the Community Service Experience Award. Dan serves our local community as a volunteer firefighter through the East Whiteland Volunteer Fire Company averaging 650 hours each year for the past five years. In addition to responding to fires, he holds the rank of a lieutenant, attends fire company meetings, assists with maintenance of the fire station and its vehicles, all while maintaining a full course load as a West Chester University student. Dan describes himself as passionate about fire safety and showed initiative by developing and teaching a new interactive fire prevention program for the children in the East Whiteland Township.
