West Chester University’s College of Business and Public Management (CBPM) has become the third largest business school in the Philadelphia region, notes the Philadelphia Business Journal in its Aug. 11 issue.
The Journal used fall 2016 business school enrollment as its determining factor, stating that WCU enrolled 2,991 undergraduate business students, 247 of them part-time. Temple’s Fox School of Business was the largest, with University of Delaware second, and Drexel’s LeBow College of Business fourth.
“What this shows is that we have grown in a sustainable way,” notes Dean of the College of Business and Public Management Anthony Wheeler. He attributes CBPM’s success to an “understanding by students of the value of a West Chester University business education.”
In addition, CBPM’s new bachelor of science in international business attracted students, its interdisciplinary approach a definite draw.
WCU’s College of Business and Public Management is AACSB-Accredited.
