Criminal Justice

Dr. Christopher Przemieniecki (Criminal Justice) and a few Criminal Justice students attended the annual American Criminal Justice Association National Conference in Nashville, TN from March 22th through 25th. While at the conference, the students participated in crime scene analysis and knowledge-based exam competitions regarding juvenile justice, law, policing, and corrections.

Dr. Simon Condliffe (Economics) and Dr. Tom Andrews (Economics) accompanied six seniors to the Eastern Economics Association Conference in New York City. Each student presented their senior economics thesis and served as discussants for students from other institutions. After attending the keynote address at the conference, they were able to meet with two WCU alums that work in the city (Ines Quintana and Cory DeForrest), who discussed their post-WCU experiences.
