Add the WCU Mobile Web App to Your Device

Get quick access to the WCU Mobile App by adding it directly to your phone or tablet. No App Store or Google Play download is required.

For iPhone or iPad

  1. Open the WCU Mobile Web App (wcupa.edu/app) website in Safari.
  2. Tap the Share button in Safari. Depending on your Safari layout, you may first need to tap the More button and then select Share.
  3. Scroll through the available options and select Add to Home Screen.
  4. If Add to Home Screen does not appear, scroll to the bottom of the Share menu, select Edit Actions, and add Add to Home Screen to the available actions. Apple specifically documents this process for installing websites as web apps on current versions of iOS.
  5. Make sure Open as Web App is turned on.
  6. Tap Add.

The WCU Mobile App icon will appear on your Home Screen. Tap the icon anytime to open the app.

For Android

  1. Open the WCU Mobile Web App (wcupa.edu/app) website in Google Chrome.
  2. Tap the three-dot menu near the address bar.
  3. Select Install and create shortcut, then select Install. Depending on your version of Chrome, you may instead see Install app.
  4. Follow the prompts on your screen to complete the installation.

The WCU Mobile App icon will appear on your Home Screen or in your app launcher. Tap the icon anytime to open the app.

Google: Install a web app on Android

No App Store Download Required

The WCU Mobile App is a web app, which means you do not need to download it from the Apple App Store or Google Play Store. Adding it to your Home Screen gives you an app icon and allows it to open like a standalone mobile app.

You can also continue to access the WCU Mobile App directly through your web browser without installing it.
