Below are agencies at the local, state, and national level that you can support while social distancing. We recognize that at this time many agencies are seeking financial support. Fundraising and donating monetary resources adheres to social distancing guidelines and lessens the possibility of spreading the virus through in-kind donations and in-person volunteering. RSVP Chester County 

RSVP improves the lives of vulnerable populations in the local community by focusing on education and wellness and by supporting nonprofits through skill-based volunteer programs.

Ways You Can Help

  • STEM Presenters:
    RSVP is looking for juniors and seniors majoring in STEM fields (science, technology, engineering, and math) to do a presentation for public schools students (via Zoom) about their career interests (e.g., what they are studying; why they chose their major; their college experience; and what they hope to do with their college degree).
  • Math Tutors:
    Virtually tutor students that need help with math. This opportunity requires volunteers to have or obtain their clearances.
  • Literacy Volunteer:
    Read books to students (K-4th grade), via Zoom. This opportunity requires volunteers to have or obtain their clearances.
  • Volunteer Executive Consultants:
    RSVP is looking for students (especially business majors) to support non-profit organization leaders in building their capacity. Students will be matched with small teams (2-4) of volunteer professionals and executives to address an organizational need identified by a local non-profit (e.g., developing a strategic plan; developing and/or implementing a marketing campaign.)
