Interested in Giving to the Pantry?

We are here to help our students and ensure their success by providing them with the items that are essential: food, personal care items, school supplies, and professional attire. In order to serve our students successfully, we count on charitable donations from community members and organizations. Donations made to the Resource Pantry are immensely appreciated and help us to achieve our mission.

How to Help

Financial Donations: Monetary donations are greatly appreciated. You can make a donation on the WCU Foundation website. Please be sure to type in the Resource Pantry fund number #2966-904. You can also mail a check to West Chester University Foundation, P.O. Box 541, West Chester, PA 19381. Checks should be made out to WCU Foundation. In the memo line, please add Resource Pantry #2966-904.

Donations and Food Drives: If you belong to a student organization and would like to hold a fundraiser or food drive to support the WCU Resource Pantry, we ask that you

contact us

We will provide you with a list of our current "needed items," that way the items that you collect can directly benefit the students. If you would like to host a large, general food drive, we ask that you donate goods collected to our partner agency, the Chester County Food Bank. We receive most of our food inventory from the CCFB, so delivering large donations there will ultimately benefit us.

Currently the Resource Pantry is in need of the following items: Can openers, men's dress shoes, tissues, paper towels, toilet paper, laundry detergent, dish detergent, as well as full size personal care products, such as shampoo, conditioners, lotion, and body wash. The pantry can always use more healthy snack options such as fruit cups and granola bars. Please keep food donations in original packaging in case the individual items don't have an expiration date printed on it.
