Multicultural Center

The Multicultural Center was established in January 2006, as a campus resource for information and programs on diversity and multiculturalism.

The Purpose of the Multicultural Center at West Chester University is to:

  • PROMOTE multicultural student success by serving as a home-base and point for coordination of programs, services, and referrals.
  • SERVE as a campus gathering place and resource/programming center for all students and other members of the University community to enhance awareness and appreciation of diversity.
  • PROVIDE a space for prospective and first-year multicultural students to identify with as they anticipate and begin their collegiate experience.
  • CONTRIBUTE to multicultural alumni relations by having a place where former students can identify with when they return to campus for visits.
