Bi Visability and Awareness Week --- September 17th-21st
Constructing Sexuality: Art Therapy --- September 18th, 12:30pm-2:00pm in Sykes 252A
Join us for a discussion about our internal identities and how we choose to perform them with art therapy. Performance can be both dynamic and static, internal and external, and public vs. private. No artistic ability is required, just an interest in discovering new ways to communicate about your sexuality and its performance through art.

LGBTQA Services will have a table available with information regarding our programs, services, and resources. There will also be an opportunity to sign the bisexual and pansexual flags to increase awareness and visibility of these middle-sexuality communities. #ByeBiErasure
Brown Bag Discussion: Bi Your Own Lunch --- September 20th, 12pm-1:15pm in Sykes 250
This lunchtime discussion is a closed space that will focus on those who identify within the middle sexualities (bi, pan, or queer) to find community as well as resources among peers. Discussion topics may vary as we meet and share space together.

Trans Day of Remembrance --- November 20th
National day to remember, recognize, and honor transgender folks that have been murdered. On this day, we aim to raise awareness of the violence, harassment and discrimination that many trans folks experience due to transphobia and trans oppression. Please stay tuned to SAGA, our LGBTQA+ student group, for information about an event for this day.

Does queerness exclude faith or does it make it stronger? Join us for a discussion that centers the intersections of faith, spirituality, gender & sexuality. Come build community, and engage in dialogue as we explore different ways of addressing these parts of identity further. Light refreshments will be provided! World AIDS Day --- December 1st
National day to raise global awareness about HIV/AIDS. Historically and currently, trans and queer phobia/oppression are directly linked to stigma about HIV/AIDS within LGBTQA+ communities. Join LGBTQA Services in pushing back on this stigma as we work in solidarity to end the stigma.
Trans Day of Visibility --- March 31st
On this day, we honor and celebrate trans identities and experiences. Additionally, we strive to raise awareness and take action against the violence and discrimination that trans communities face. Please keep an eye on this page for updated information on programs for Spring 2019.
Lavender Graduation --- TBD
Lavender Graduation celebrates graduating LGBTQA students and recognizes their many contributions and accomplishments. The ceremony also highlights the year’s achievements for both the department and student organizations. Additionally, scholarships and recognition awards will be presented.
