Welcome to West Chester University and the Office of New Student Programs!
An adult learner is someone who is 24 or older and attending college for the first time or returning after an extended absence. Unlike traditional undergraduate students, adult learners often work full or part-time, are married or partnered, and care for children or elderly parents.
We want you to be successful as a West Chester University student, therefore, every August we offer an orientation for adult learners entering in the fall semester. This program is designed to help you prepare for your academic career at WCU.
Adult Learners entering in the spring semester who want to learn more about the University or who would like assistance as they transition to WCU are welcome and encouraged to meet with a member of our staff. To set up an appointment, contact our office at (610) 436-3305 or firstname.lastname@example.org.
As an adult learner, we hope you will take advantage of the many student support services that are available to you at WCU.
