On-Campus Interviewing Program

Employers visit the WCU campus in the fall and spring semesters to interview students for jobs and internships; the positions are posted in Ram Career Network. You may search for positions that interest you, review the descriptions/qualifications/application directions, and then apply no later than the "resume deadline." Most interviews are "Pre-Select" - meaning you must first apply, the employer then has a short period of time to review applicants, and finally they will "pre-select" individuals to invite for an interview.

To be considered for an interview, you must apply directly to each position of interest; just uploading a resume into Ram Career Network is not enough. Follow these instructions on how to APPLY via Ram Career Network !

Interviews begin as early as mid-September and end in late-April. On-Campus Interviews (OCI) are sometimes the only way to connect with certain employers, and overall are a great way to secure internships and post-graduation employment.

For questions about the On-Campus Interview Program, contact the Recruiting Coordinator, Jean Kingan. Questions related to policies, offers or salary can be directed to our Employers Relations Team.

On-Campus Interview Participation

To participate in on-campus interviews, you must follow these steps:

  1. Have an approved resume in your Ram Career Network account. NOTE: The first resume you upload into your Ram Career Network account must be approved by staff - this process can take up to two business days (excluding weekends and holidays).
  2. To view on-campus interview positions, log in to Ram Career Network and click "Jobs and Internships" then select "Ram Career Network Jobs."
  3. Select Advanced Search > All On-Campus Interviews (OCI) and then click the "Search" button at the bottom of the page. Click here for step-by-step instructions.
  4. Click "Apply" - then you will be able to select your resume (and other documents if requested). Click “Submit” to submit your documents and apply for the position. Your resume submissions and upcoming interviews will be visible any time you visit the OCI section of Ram Career Network.
  5. Dress professionally and prepare for the interview process to increase your chances of getting an offer.
