Position Responsibilities:

Involves the following:
• Confidential or sensitive data/information
• Handling cash, checks, or credit card transactions
• Handling financial, student or personnel data/records
• Possessing keys/codes or other means of entry to spaces within university offices or student housing
This position will provide general assistance with:
General office duties such as data entry, reception/answering telephones, typing, filing, copying, faxing, scanning, ordering supplies and keeping office work space clean & tidy. Maintain high degree of confidentiality of materials and information of the department. Send documents via inter-office and US postal service. Assist with on-going and special projects as needed. Various other responsibilities as requested.
Specific duties as they relate to this department:
Strong work ethic. Reliability is a must. Friendly. Great customer service attitude. Strong communication skills. Personable telephone and face to face manner. Computer comfort, knowledge and skills with Microsoft Word, Outlook, Excel is helpful. Ability to work with basic office equipment. Enthusiastic and positive attitude. Ability to be organized and pay attention to detail. Ability to complete goals and tasks assigned. Ability to work with minimum supervision.

Student will experience a well organized department with a strong work ethic and will be encouraged to take that experience/knowledge into his/her own work force.
