Service: I have served on many committees on campus, I find doing service rewarding and especially with the faculty mentoring program. Most of my service is done for the College of visual and performing arts and the department of theatre and dance. I also serve on CAPC (I course) and FMP.
Teaching: I am responsible for the execution of all the technical elements in every production that the department produce. I teach technical theatre, rigging, woodworking, steel-working, CAD and sound design. I am passionate about teaching concepts and hands-on learning.
Research: Most of my research is in safe-working practices, static structures, rigging and applied physics within the theatre. I’m currently working on getting a theatrical device copyrighted and possibly sold to a manufacturer.
Interests/Passions Outside of Academe: I enjoy baking, soccer, ballroom dancing, and when possible: reading and consequently sleeping (awesome past-time).
Times when I can meet: My schedule with the shows can get rather hectic. I can meet on most MWF mornings and T/Th after 2 pm.
