Teaching: My primary teaching responsibilities surround clinical laboratory courses (cadaver, treatment, and rehabilitation), as well as graduate coursework in Evidence Based Practice and Prevention. I also work clinically with our WCU basketball teams and serve as a preceptor to clinical students.
Research: My research focuses on the long-term effects of knee injuries, including primary/secondary prevention of post-traumatic osteoarthritis, patient reported outcomes, and biochemical response to load and activity.
Service: I am very involved in the athletic training profession at the state level and in research groups nationally. My service roles across campus include research (IRB & graduate program), but also includes CAPC, technology, simulation, and many search committees.
Interests/Passions Outside of Academe: I really enjoy the beach, working out, music, reading, and watching/playing sports. College basketball's march madness is my favorite time of year!
Times when I can meet: Lunch time is generally a good time to meet, but I am flexible to schedule meetings based on mutual schedules.
