Teaching: I teach a variety of face-to-face, hybrid and online special education courses at the graduate and undergraduate levels. I also serve as the student teaching supervision coordinator for our department.

Research: My research interests include pre-service teacher preparation for inclusive classrooms, educational needs of English Language Learners [ELL] in K-12 and technology integration in the 21st century classroom

Service: Mentoring immigrant high school students, Training immigrant parents on ways to advocate for their children, board secretary for the International Association of Special Education (IASE), teacher training in Rural Kenya and co-advisor for WCU Student CEC group.

Interests/Passions Outside of Academe: I enjoy listening to music, watching the HGTV and home renovation shows, catching up with the latest movies, socializing with friends and family and cooking

Times when I can meet: I am available to meet on Tuesday, Wednesday or Thursday anytime before 2pm or anytime in the day Mondays and Fridays.
