Funding

During 2008-2009, Writing Zones will be operating through funding provided by the West Chester Area School District and West Chester University’s Department of English and the College of Arts and Sciences. In-kind contributions are made by our high school sites, Henderson, East and Bayard Rustin High Schools.

What do each of the partners contribute?

School sites contribute space; basic supplies such as paper, pens and reference books; photocopies; and the time of a Teacher Partner, to help sign up students and teachers to use the WZ and promote integration in the school's existing literacy and literary endeavors.
