One-to-one, on-going relationships with an academic coach to aid students in building time management, and organizational and study skills.
Delta Alpha Pi Honor Society presents an opportunity to change any negative stereotyping associated with disabilities for their academic accomplishments. In addition, this honor society facilitates developing skills in leadership, advocacy, and education.
OSSD Staff will assist you in developing self-advocacy skills. Self-advocacy is an understanding of your disability, your strengths and limitations, and your rights and entitlements, as well as communicating your needs, taking responsibility for your success, and asking for help when you need it.
|High School Students with physical and/or learning disabilities are invited to attend a Prospective Student Mini Q & A Session. Sessions are held in the afternoon on the last Thursday of each month from September through April and are by appointment only. To schedule an appointment please call 610-436-2564.|
