- Students will make interdisciplinary connections among their courses
- Students will interact with each other more than in their non-FIG courses
- Students will collaborate with FIG faculty, staff, and RAs more than with non-FIG faculty and staff
- Students will identify ways to perpetuate their FIG beyond the first-semester experience
