Enrollment Management

Creating a Shared Vision

Enrollment Management Objectives

To enhance communication and ensure that State System and University objectives are linked directly with recruitment, retention, and enrollment planning functions, WCU has implemented an enrollment management model for the University. The objectives are to:

  • Improve the integration and coordination of activities that affect the recruitment and retention of students.
  • Strengthen the link between policy making and policy implementation for the recruitment and retention initiatives of three sub-groups; Enrollment Forecasting, Marketing, and Student Retention/Graduation and Customer Service.

Enrollment Management Structure

To accomplish these goals, the enrollment management structure relies on three work groups - Enrollment Forecasting, Marketing, and Retention - coordinated by the Enrollment Management Steering Committee. The Steering Committee ensures that each work group prepares and implements a comprehensive plan for achieving its objectives. The plans include goals, activities to achieve those goals, and procedures to monitor and assess results. In addition, the Steering Committee advocates for institutional and operational changes recommended by the three working teams.
