West Chester University is seeking a qualified individual to fill the position of Head Baseball Coach. The successful candidate will be responsible for fulfilling all duties associated with successful coaching at the collegiate level. This includes organization and administration of the program, recruiting, scheduling, budget preparation and other associated responsibilities of West Chester Universitys baseball. Fund-raising and conducting camps for scholarships for the program are major responsibilities. The successful candidate will also be responsible for coordinating event parking for all athletic events. Minimum requirements include a bachelors degree, knowledge of and conformity to NCAA rules, five years of high school or college coaching experience and personal college competitive experience. Preferred requirements include a masters degree and experience as a college level head or assistant coach. Applicants must successfully complete the interview process to be considered as a finalist. This is a full-time, entry-level, salaried, 12-month position with full benefits. The non-negotiable salary for this position is $37,500. Additional income is possible by conducting mandatory summer baseball camp(s).
