Responsibilities for the Maternal Child and Medical Surgical Faculty Positions
The successful candidates will:
Have the ability to teach and develop courses on the undergraduate level
Assume clinical teaching responsibilities
Articulate a scholarly agenda that complements department needs
Have the potential to meet Department, College and University requirements for tenure and promotion.
Contribute service to the University and /or the community.
Requirements for Maternity Position
Matriculation and significant progress towards a doctoral degree in Nursing or a related field.
Graduate degree in Nursing
Clinical practice experience in Maternity
Eligibility for RN licensure in Pennsylvania
Preferences for Maternity Position
Earned doctorate
Baccalaureate teaching experience
Clinical teaching experience
Experience teaching adult learners in classroom and clinical areas.
Requirements for Medical Surgical Position
The successful candidate will have:
Matriculation and significant progress towards a doctorate in Nursing or a related field.
Graduate degree in Nursing
Clinical practice experience in Medical Surgical Adult Health
RN licensure eligibility in Pennsylvania
Preferences
Earned doctorate
Baccalaureate teaching experience
Clinical teaching experience
Experience teaching adult learners
Finalist must successfully complete an on campus interview and teaching demonstration. References with contact information will be required prior to the interview.
