Requirements: Ph.D. in hand by August 15, 2010. Required expertise in TESOL PK-12 for Spanish speakers, Spanish/English Bilingualism in the U.S., or a socio-cultural specialization related to a specific U.S. Latino population. The successful candidate should demonstrate a strong commitment to and evidence of excellence in Spanish language teaching, as well as Latino Studies content; native or near-native fluency in Spanish and English; evidence of strong research potential, and familiarity with current trends in pedagogy. Finalists must successfully complete on-site interview process and teaching demonstration.
