Official Transcript Requests

West Chester University now offers online ordering of official transcripts. You may select a paper transcript or an E-Transcript (certified PDF) which can be emailed.

The cost is the same whether paper or E-Transcript, $7.00 per transcript.

How to Order

Current students and those who have attended since 1985:
You must login to your myWCU account to order your transcript. Once you have logged into your myWCU account, simply click on the link "Order Official Transcript".

If you are a former student, you may need to reactivate your account with the WCU Help desk so you can login to myWCU. Please see the "Need Help Logging Into myWCU?" section at the bottom of this page.

Students who attended WCU prior to 1985:
Ordering online is not an option for you since your record is archived. You may use the Transcript Request Form to submit your order.

Please note the following:

  • You will not be able to request a transcript if you have any outstanding holds on your account.
  • Recent Degree Awarded? Click on the "Unofficial Transcript" link on your myWCU account. Please note that the “degree awarded” information is displayed on the last page of the unofficial transcript. Submit your transcript request once the degree displays as awarded.
  • Recent Semester Grades Posted? Final grades are posted to transcripts the Thursday afternoon following final exams. You should request the transcript no earlier than the Thursday afternoon following final exams.
  • Current term "In-Progress" courses will not display on a West Chester University transcript. Only courses that have been graded will display.
  • Transcripts requested to be held for in-office pick-up that are not retrieved within 30 days will be destroyed.

Do NOT order an E-transcript if you need to send an attached document/form to the organization with your transcript. Forms can only be attached to a paper transcript.

If you need to have a specific form mailed with your PAPER transcript, please see the steps below: (Examples of some organizations that require an additional form: DICAS, CASPA, LSAC, PHARMCAS.)

  1. Student submits the completed form to the Transcript Clerk. (Form may be faxed to 610-436-2370 ATTN: Transcript Clerk).
  2. Student should email transcripts@wcupa.edu with their name and basic info to alert the transcript clerk to attach the form when the paper transcript is processed/mailed. Wait 24 hours before you move to Step 3!
  3. Student then submits their paper transcript request online AFTER they have submitted the completed form to the Registrar's office and emailed transcripts@wcupa.edu.

Need Help Logging Into myWCU?

Do you remember both your username and password?

If you remember your Student ID and the last password you used you can go to https://outlook.wcupa.edu/changePassword.asp and change your password. You can use this password to log into MyWCU immediately.

Forgot your password?

If you remember your user ID but do not remember your password, you may be able to use the password reset tool located here, https://outlook.wcupa.edu/resetPassword.asp to change your password remotely. Please keep in mind these answers are case sensitive.

Forgot both your password and user ID?

If you do not remember your password or user ID, please submit a help ticket to the IT Helpdesk. Once your request is received an administrator will call you back to assist you in retrieving your user ID and password.
